Thanks to attendees at the recent CultureCon Conference, more kids in our community will have the resources they need to start school ready to learn this fall. Conference attendees collected school supplies and helped stuff backpacks that will be handed out to children in The Road Home’s housing programs during the Families Moving Forward Celebration this coming weekend.
CultureCon is a new conference held in Madison for the first time this June. Its mission is to impact the workplace by connecting people in order to change organizational culture. The conference focuses on building a corporate culture of employee community engagement and philanthropy. Kristin Rucinski, Executive Director of The Road Home, and Ted Gurman, Co-Founder and Board member of Blue Tree Network and member of the The Road Home Development Committee, presented about our partnership at the conference.
