Jaleesa, a local mother to three young boys, began transforming her life after connecting with The Road Home almost three years ago. She set into motion a plan to achieve her biggest dream, owning her own home. “I literally dream about it every night,” Jaleesa says.
Jaleesa’s own determination and strong drive have fueled her growth and Jaleesa’s former case manager, Belinda, supported her efforts. On her path to homeownership she has accomplished obtaining her driver’s license, earning her GED and removing more than $30,000 worth of debt as she continues to strengthen her credit score. When speaking of the goal-driven support she’s received from Belinda, Jaleesa says, “I look at you as a role model. Every time I talk to you, you give me more motivation.”
