By sponsoring a child, family, or home, you can help these children and families get the resources they need to move from homelessness into safe, stable, affordable housing. As a benefit to joining our society, you will receive exclusive e-newsletters every other month with updates on our programs, the Road Home’s latest news, and stories of how your contributions are making an impact. Choose the five-year program that works best for you:
Sponsor a Child
A pledge of $1,000 per year for five years can provide services to help one child transition from homelessness into a stable home.
Research shows that compared to housed children, homeless children experience twice the rate of illness, twice the rate of learning disabilities and three times the rate of emotional or behavioral problems. As a result, homeless children often fall behind in school and fewer than one in four graduate from high school. Your gift can change that.
Sponsor a Family
A pledge of $5,000 per year for five years will help one family each year for five years transition from homelessness into a stable home.
Once in housing, 95% of our families are still in permanent housing one year later. That means your gift provides more than crisis intervention—it provides a turning point to help these families and children maintain stable housing.
Sponsor a Home
A pledge of $10,000 per year for five years will cover one year of housing for five families.
A gift at this level provides affordable supported housing for a family who needs extra help on their way out of homelessness. Your gift allows them to continue to progress toward their goals of housing stability and success.
